Fat Quarter Bundle of the Week - May 20th

We are so excited to introduce a new weekly fat quarter bundle series!

Each week one of our staff members will hand select 12 Fat Quarters of their choice. Then you will get a small glimpse into their creativity by learning why they chose the fabrics they did. If you love it you can pre-order the bundle!

This week's bundle was chosen by Karin Smith, a.k.a. Mins, and her inspiration was a Wes Anderson color way. Her bundle includes 12 batiks fat quarters from the Me+You Hand Dyed Batiks collection. 

Here's what she has to say about her bundle:

"My favorite season is autumn and these colors are perfectly suited to a crisp, cold day walking in the woods! That they also fit into my my children's favorite Wes Anderson colorway doesn't hurt either. Think Moonrise Kingdom and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Yes, it's an actual thing. (:"

This bundle will be available for pre-order beginning Friday, May 20th through Thursday, May 26th, while supplies last. The price for the bundle is $42, and you have the choice of picking up your bundle in store, or we can ship it to you for an additional charge. If you would like to pre-order, please call the store.

This month's quilt pattern is True Companion by Cozy Quilt Designs and the fabric is a mix of Behind the Scenes, Just a Speck, & Gardenvale by Jen Kingwell for Moda.

National Quilting Day - Sharing Our Celebration of Quilts

National Quilting Day celebrates fabulous quilts and those who make them, and this year A Scarlet Thread is commemorating the occasion with a virtual quilt show of quilts and projects made by our creative and talented staff.

You will see that we are an eclectic group with a love of quilts from traditional to modern and everything in between! We hope you enjoy seeing our work, and that you will find inspiration for your own creations.
